VIP CAMP KIT SENT TO A MEDICALLY CHALLENGED CHILD
Will you help raise $500 to gift a medically challenged child a camp kit and a year pass for their family to our park! Thank you for your time, I am Lisa Keck Kujawa the founder and President of Golden Key Charity, I started Golden Key as a nonprofit a few years ago to grant Michigan Wishes for Michigan Kids fighting cancer and other life threatening, terminal, or medically challenging diagnoses and can proudly can say we have granted dozens of wishes, trips, sent families on incredible paid vacations, organized dozens of collections for toys, art & craft collections, baskets for families in need, given to thousands of families with sick children over the short time of a few years. And now I am thrilled to share the next project! The Golden Key Camp Kit will be sent to a child who has been diagnosed with a devastating illness, it includes a VIP Membership ID card, a COLEMAN 4 PERSON TENT to camp out in their own backyard when they have to isolate from the world, a hat, a camp mug, binoculars, a Golden Key camp shirt, flashlight, camping blanket, Santa Key and personalized letter from Santa, craft kits, Lanyards, Greeting cards to color, A certificate for framing honoring that child as a VIP member of Golden Key camp, and a welcome letter inviting the child and their family to the camp for a day visit or even a full week at no cost !
Kids who have a terminal or life threatening illness often miss out on social activity, miss out on so much in life and feel like they don't belong, but with the Golden Key Camp Club Kit they will be part of the CAMP CLUB with our kit!
Each year we organize a toy drive for hospitals but this year since we now have a camp, we are thrilled to welcome families for a year round camping retreat! The original goal of Golden Key Charity had been to open a year round camp and park for families to visit a day or a week for a true awesome camp experience never a cost for the families we welcome! We purchased a 55 acre campground in Beautiful Gladwin, Mi It has bunkhouses, a lodge, a cafeteria, a lake, river frontage, we are installing a 1 mile trail, handicap accessible playgrounds and wildlife is bountiful! This property is incredible and we are so excited to welcome families who need to create special time together and lasting memories in a very difficult time.
We set a goal of sending out 1000 CAMP KITS this year and we need your help. Each camp kit has a value of $500, we are hopeful your business will sponsor a Childs Camp Kit which will include up to a one week stay at Golden Key Camp for a child and their family. When you donate a camp kit at $500 the child will receive the greatest gift of belonging to a "club" and the kit also the week vacation at the camp but you will receive a brick in our trail and a certificate for framing that you provided a kit to a child in need.
Here are some ideas we have for contributing ,.. we are sure you will be glad you helped knowing the magnitude of the importance of this camp. Life is short, sadly its very short for some of these children. Lets help make their dreams come true while we can!
