Golden Key charity provides "last wishes" for kids who are fighting cancer and other terminal illnesses. With your support we have a goal of helping 100 children in 2025, but it takes a village and we need help. I am asking if you will please be a 5k 10k 14k 18k or 24k Sponsor, and depending on your donation you will grant 1 wish or 2 or 3 or more! 

 

Heres how to help! When you run a campaign for a day or a week with a goal to raise whatever amount you decide you will be granting a "DREAM ON" WISH DREAM OR GOAL  $500 will grant a Golden Key "DREAM ON"! So, what does that mean?  Golden Key differs from other wish granting charities because sadly we grant last wishes.

 

We believe every person has a purpose and a dream within them, but children who are at end of life dont get the long lifetime others do to reach our goals,.. so we help them and we can only do this very important work with your support, by being a sponsor and donating (or raising) $500 which will provide a child to have their "DREAM, WISH OR GOAL GRANTED", if and by sponsoring a child you will be a 14K GOLDEN SPONSOR! 

 

We have a challenge and we hope you join in the fun, you can help easily by being a Golden Key Ambassador and the funds raised will gift a child who is fighting cancer the amazing gift of a lifetime,.. because of you. 

 

Heres how to help! When you run a "DREAM ON CHAIN CAMPAIGN" for a day or a week with a goal to raise whatever amount you decide you will be granting a terminally ill child their dream, wish or goal! On average it costs $500 to grant a Golden Key "dream, wish, or goal"! So, what does that mean?  Golden Key differs from other wish granting charities because sadly we grant last wishes. Its easy to be a sponsor, we will mail you our DREAM ON CHAIN CAMPAIGN  KIT containing  2" x 11" strips of paper and you ask everyone (customers, employees, coworkers, family, clients, etc to fill out a strip (which will be a link in the "DREAM ON  CHAIN" on each persons link they write their goal and donate any amount,.. we suggest a $5 donation to Golden Key Charity which will be used to grant "last dreams" to kids who are at end of life. We suggest setting a goal of getting 100 links on your chain with a suggested donation of $5 from each person willing to add their goal to your goaled chain, add the links together as you get them and collect the donations then we will come pick up at the end of your campaign which can last a day or a week, or the month.

 

Golden Key Charity will help them reach their GOAL or sadly their last wish. Additionally for your kindness you will be given a Golden Key Appreciation plaque that you helped grant a "DREAM ON WISH for a Michigan child who is fighting cancer. And/Or hopefully you would consider and be willing to be a 5K 10K 14K 18K or 24K sponsor with your LOGO or family name on our website to help grant wishes for kids who are fighting cancer.

 

Hi my name is Lisa Keck I'm the President and Founder of Golden Key Camp we are a nonprofit, we grant wishes for kids with cancer and we have a retreat to welcome kids year- round that are fighting cancer. 

 

I started the charity 10 years ago and we have helped HUNDREDS of Michigan children with wish granting and helping them achieve their last wishes. We believe that everyone has a purpose and there are things they want to achieve, children that have terminal illnesses are no different but they lose out on their childhood and often have a short life due to the illnesses they have.

Golden Key Charity has a big goals for 2025 ! We know of 100 terminally ill children whom we want to give the most fantastic news to, but we need help. These kids are terminally ill and we will offer them a week at our retreat in Mid Michigan with their whole family, or each child will be given the opportunty if they chose to have whatever "last dream, wish, or goal" they desire. Our saying is Michigan wishes for Michigan kids who are fighting cancer. Each dream, wish or goal granted is $500 sponsorship, each child will be given the opportunty if they chose to have whatever "last wish" they desire. Our saying is Michigan wishes for Michigan kids who are fighting cancer, AND WE BELIEVE DREAMS DO COME TRUE.

Hopefully you would be willing to sponsor a child whether it be a full amount or partial towards their wish, we have arranged last birthdays or last Easters, or last a Christmas ,.. whatever the family decides we make it happen and celebrate to help create joy in a sad time. 

 

Hopefully you can raise the funds within your company or friends and family, or donate the funds to your company or organization.

We believe it takes a village sometimes to do seemingly impossible things,.. wont you please join in the purpose and mission to help childen fighting cancer or other terminal illnesses 

 

Kids that are fighting cancer have a very serious goal to beat their diagnosis, but they also have goals and dreams like any other kids and we are determined to help them, of course by raising awareness but by helping them have "normal". 

 

Children diagnosed with cancer have goals to beat their diagnosis, thrive and live out their dreams. Sadly some of these children dont get to enjoy the simple things due to the illness and physical disabilites and we are a village to help them, some of these special kids that have entered hospice or pallative care, so time is critical while they can still have fun. Children who are terminally ill,.. have dreams and goals too, lets help them.  

 

Through the Golden Key Charity philosophy and motto we encourage these brave children to continue to be the brave youngsters they are and fight the disease,..but with your help together we can help arrange for them and believe with them that all things are possible not matter what the circumstance and barrier,..lets do what it takes to accomplish it! 

 

In addition to bringing awareness to a deadly disease, and encouraging us all to set and accomplish our goals, is to help give 100 kids the greatest gift ever in 2025.

 

So how can you help? HELP BY BUILDING A "DREAM ON" CHAIN How can you, your company, your office, Corporation, business, family, friends, your school, a group, organization, club you are in, your church or you personally get involved? Easy ... do a collection! Ask every one you know, your office, coworkers, club, employees, customers, patients, friends, family etc to make a pledge, donation, and on a day you choose to be your “Childhood cancer awareness DREAM ON day”. A day to honor kids with a terminal diagnosis and to set a goal to raise funds to give a dream on wish ! Get the word out on your social media about your week long or month long mission.

 

For 10 years now The mission and vision of Golden Key charity has had a fantastic-huge- awesome-incredible goal to help kids with cancer by helping make "goals come true" for these amazing kids who have very uncertain and devastating news daily, we have helped hundreds of kids by encouraging them with birthday parties, Last Easter, Christmas celebrations for those children who were at end of life, as well as thrown amazing birthday parties, filled hospitals with our huge toy drives and art collections for the kids in the hospitals. 

 

Golden Key charity has goals also coming up in 2025, GOLDEN KEY CHARITY has a never-ending mission to raise awareness, but also create opportunities of love, joy and self empowerment, even in dark sad times, there is always space for joy and laughter for families that are fighting childhood cancer. Children miss out on their dream and goals but you support for making pledges or donations will help make this all a reality for these children.

 

Childhood Cancer needs to be cured, but only 3 or 4 % of finding a cure dollars go to FINDING A CURE. This number will never get childhood cancer cured; but we can unite to help these brave kids, raising awareness is critical. They don’t want to be brave to fight for their lives but they HAVE to. Children diagnosed with cancer just want to be kids and have dreams with goals like the rest of us. Raising awareness makes a difference!
